My work explores substance use disorder, its mental health impact, and the stigma surrounding it. The faces I paint represent all those affected—victims, witnesses, and survivors. I also examine identity and the transformative power of chance encounters, reflecting how fleeting moments can shape, redirect and redefine our lives.
